Astonishing distances that push the boundaries of the R&A and USGA’s performance limitations are achieved by plasma welding a thin, hot, ES230 maraging steel face to a 431 stainless steel body – a technique perfected in Mizuno’s MP Fli-Hi utility iron.

HOT METAL Technology about mizuno mx1000 irons

The HOT METAL face is teamed with a hollow construction and internal weighting -encouraging strikes from a wide area of the face to hold their line with minimal distance loss. The hollow construction also allows weight to be engineered deep within the head for a naturally high trajectory – enabling the use of stronger lofts for even greater distance.

Aggressively bevelled lead and trailing edges effectively narrow the MX-1000’s substantial soleplate, for clean turf interaction and use from a variety of lies.

This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

Played golf 43yrs. These irons have no disapointments here. Best value for the money at goldsmith price. Regular shaft graphit loose no feel over my steel shaft I just put in the closet.

i buy more sets of clubs in one year than most do in a lifetime. great that golfsmith has a 30 day turn over policy i put the mx 1000 in the bag last week and am amazed at how accurate they are. i had the taylor 2.0's and taylor tour cb's before these and could not get the accuracy from these clubs as i do with the mx1000's.

Got these clubs to replace my cobras which were a little long in the tooth. Had always heard Mizuno was the best, but tried all of the others out to compair. All I can say is straight, but workable. Very nice overall

This club head is well made and solid. Irons seem to be a club longer than my normal irons. I will experiment a little more to determine if I like the steel or graphite shaft the best. They both feel good in this club head.
